Hallelujah! Is Spring finally here? In our 31 years of marriage, we've thoroughly enjoyed long, cold winters and were always anxious for more snow -- well, our prayers were abundantly answered, thank you! Now, let's see some warm, sunny days! The crocuses are up, trees are budding out, and we've already had to mow. After quite a bit of rain and high lake levels, Grand Lake seems to be getting back to its normal glorious self. The golf courses are looking great, the fish are starting to bite, and we've even seen a couple of Sea-Doos out and about. It's still very peaceful here; the evenings are still crisp enough to enjoy the hot tub overlooking the lake. If you're ready for a relaxing time before the summer heat hits, just give us a call. We have recently redecorated Murphy's Romance with a beautiful king four-poster bed with luxurious damask bedding. Very romantic! Also, The Cottage is finally completed. This very private cabin has a queen four-poster bed with matching armoir and nightstand, satellite TV and VCR, a kitchenette, and a large 3/4 bath. If you are looking for a room for an extended stay where you can prepare meals other than breakfast (we take care of that), this would be it.
